Who am I and how can I help you become successful in both Life & Business?
My name is Jamie M. Kizer and I am the Founder/President of Powerhouse Principles, LLC and the National Association of Mothers and Daughters in Business. Both of these companies emerged as a culmination of lessons learned over the past 30 years. As a serial entrepreneur during most of that time, I’ve had the experience of starting, operating or destroying over 10 businesses. In addition to my years as an entrepreneur I’ve earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in Public Administration and held positions in both the government and nonprofit sectors.
Today, I am a healthy, happy, successful, fulfilled, grateful and financially independent woman and mother of an amazing daughter. Each day I count my blessings and choose to never forget that my life wasn’t always so joyous and abundant.
Actually, most of my life was just the opposite…..it was difficult, frightening, ridden with habits and patterns of self-sabotage and unhealthy mindsets…I surrounded myself with people who judged, minimized and doubted me. For some reason, those were the people that made me feel most comfortable as they reflected what I believed to be true about myself. It’s funny how life works like that….whatever we feel or believe on the inside is always reflected or revealed back to us on the outside. Unfortunately it took me a very long time to learn and accept this truth.
Now armed with many lessons learned and much healthier habits, mindsets, support and faith, I currently spend my time traveling the country meeting, speaking with and teaching entrepreneurs and business owners what I have deemed to be the “Powerhouse Principles for Life & Business”.
Rather than continue with a monologue about my journey, credentials and what makes me tick, I’d prefer to focus on how I can best be of assistance to you…both as an individual and an entrepreneur. The best way to surmise what we do here at Powerhouse Principles is for you to visit the Home, Programs and Speaking pages of our site but of course, I’d prefer if you give me a call or shoot me an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) and set up a time that we can talk in person. I’d love to meet you!
